This project took quite a long time to finish (over a year) and required over 1,000 hours of work. I used a wonderful pattern designed by Cross Stitch Collectibles; it is a cross-stitch adaptation of Van Gogh’s painting Road with Cypress and Star. The finished project has 62,260 stitches and over 90 different thread colors. Unframed, this project measures 14.25”w x 19.5”h. It has also been double matted and custom framed for a truly beautiful way to display one’s love of Van Gogh! The colors are so vibrant, and I absolutely adore the added texture that the stitches give to the piece.
